It's not every day that earplugs can make you cry, but then again when you're close to a real emotional break down, earplugs will do it. I'm staying with my great aunt on her couch for two weeks...yes ladies and gentlemen, two weeks. I'm not sleeping very well (as in waking up ever 2-3 hours until 4 and then waking up every half hour) over there and have been extremely tired for the last week.
So the saving grace I've had for the sleep until 4 a.m. has been my earplugs. They block out all the noises of my aunt getting ready for bed, getting up in the middle of the night, etc. Last night, I couldn't find them and just started crying. I think I cried for a good 15 minutes.
Sad I tell you. Sad.
