MXC

I think I figured out one of life's greatest mysteries. I think I know what MXC really is. Here's my theory:

MXC is actually a game show in Japan where contestants dress up as characters in video games and compete in video game-like games. Like hanging on to a giant mushroom as you swirl over water and have to land on a pad. Or jumping across stepping stones which could potentially sink if you pick the wrong one. Or jumping across spinning logs. Or running through a castle while things jump out at you. Etc., etc.

I don't have a theory for what they characters are competing for. But the name of the game is Yoshiro's Castle, so I think this all makes sense.
